Saturday Theme Treasury Challenge - Superbowl Sunday

The commercials, the piggin' out, the consumption of a couple of cold ones... Yep, it's time for the big game!  This Saturday's Treasury theme challenge is taken from Etsy's January Merchandising Desk - Superbowl Sunday.  Specifically Etsy promoted these ideas: football, team pride, parties, party food, half time, and those favorite game day commercials.  Here are some details to help, but they don't have to be used for this challenge: Superbowl Sunday is on Feb. 6.  Green Bay Packers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers.  Colors: Green Bay is green and gold.  Pittsburgh is black and gold.

The Rules:

1. Include at least 8 Curation Nation team members.
2. Please follow our blog.
3. Post a comment here on the blog with a link to your treasury - your treasury will not be judged unless you have posted it below in the comments.
4. Put a link to this blog post in the comments of the treasury - this helps others find the challenge and enter.
5. Tag the treasury "curationnation"
6. Tag the treasury "etsyteamtreasury" - if you tweet, tweet your treasury using the hashtag #etsyteamtreasury.
7. Tag the treasury "superbowl sunday"
8. DUE DATE: Wednesday, February 2.
9. Enjoy!
These challenges are meant to build your treasury making skills, promote the team and make Etsy connections. There is always a photo used to express the theme but this item does not have to be included in your treasury.

Everyone is invited to play - these challenges are open to all! These challenges are also voluntary - never mandatory for team members. Remember to try to include team mates you haven't used before.

Teammie Biography Treasury Thursday - Vanessa

Hey guys, Jess here from Virtue Bath and Beauty. I am very excited to start up this new project for our team! Each Thursday I will bring you a new treasury inspired by one of our C-Nation teammies. This week I was lucky enough to get to know Vanessa from baileybellecreations and can I just tell y'all, it was a pleasure! So without further ado I present to you, "Vanessa goes to the carnival."

I was rather inspired by Vanessa's cotton candy recycled magazine paper hair clips. The color's reminded me of cotton candy and you know I can't resist a good whimsical treasury! I also was determined to add a chihuahua in there, Vanessa loves chihuahuas, and a sombrero wearing chihuahua at that!

I hope you guys like it!

Talkin' Tuesday!

Here are 9 Fierce Facts about Som and one line is completely fictional.  Get involved by guessing which one of the 10 items listed below is the imposter. Put your comments below and Som may be around on Twitter so you can poke at her for some hints!  The fictional statement about Som will be posted next Tuesday when I feature the next CN Teammie.

1.  I love making and wearing jewelry, but my wedding ring and ear studs are pretty much what I wear daily.
2.  I am a big supporter of education, science and technology.
3.  I was denied my Sales Tax license in India because I refused to bribe the corrupt Municipal Officers.
4.  I got my Export license in India, because those Officers did not ask for a bribe.  So, now I can sell everywhere else but the country I stay in. Go figure!
5.  My alter ego is an Iron Chef! Allez Cuisine!
6.  Once I interrogated a maid so intensely, that although no one believed me, she actually returned the pair of heels and the cash she did steal.
7.  I was asked to join politics while at college but rejected that in spite of a lot of money and power being offered.
8.  I had an arranged marriage and met the guy just 2 days before the wedding.
9.  There is an antique dagger from Nepal in my father's family made of solid silver encrusted with jewels, which is never unsheathed.  If anyone does take it out, he is supposed to prick his finger and put a bit of blood on the blade, or legend has it that the blood thirsty blade will get its own blood.
10.  For my honeymoon, my husband took me on a grand tour of Europe.

*******Last week's false fact about Vanessa from bailybellecreations was this one: When I lived in FL I went sky diving for the first time and loved it!
